Good Hope Hospital

Highbury Design were appointed with over 20 years of experience of working with the Trust across the Solihull Hospital and Heartlands Hospital sites, as well as delivering a modular ward at Good Hope the first modern inpatient facility built on the site since the turn of the century to create a state of the art Intensive Therapy Unit and High Dependency Unit for the acute hospital and Trust. 

The facility 18no side rooms which could be isolated to avoid cross contamination with glazed partitions for 24 hour surveillance at all times with integral blinds, and Starkstrom pendant systems. In the corridor areas nurse stations were replaced with touchdown points so as to create a clean and bright environment. The unit was linked to innovative coronary care and elderly wards with built in storage and light and airy interiors.
