| Highbury Design have been appointed from as architects
for a new £16 million critical care development for Heart of
England NHS Foundation Trust under the NHS Procure 21 partnering initiative.
The new scheme to be completed in December 2010 will provide an extension
of the existing A&E facilities at Good Hope Hospital, with ITU
and HDU departments, and ward accommodation for stroke and coronary
care. Highbury Design have prepared initial feasibility proposals
following the completion of £2.5million scheme last year for
a new 28 bed decant ward for the Trust, which was built in only 3
months using modular construction methods, where the practice also
provide CDM Co-ordination and contract administration. The practice
was also recently appointed to the Estates Business Agency list for
the West Midlands. |
